So I picked up little Zoe today from the hospital. She is resting comfortably now.
They say she had an infection but aren't sure what it was caused by. She is now on medication and will be making a return trip to the vet in another 2 weeks to be reassed, have new bloodwork taken and possibly an ultrasound to try to discover what caused the infection. She may have an irritable bowel and might need a special diet and more medication. Not a surprise really since on any given day she can stick pretty much anything in her mouth and eat it.
She is quite subdued compared to what she normally is and is farting like a very sick horse. Despite the smell I'm happy to have my baby back home.
Thanks for all your well wishes…Zoe gives a big 2 paws up.
You cracked me up with the farting part, Suzanne. I’m so glad she’s getting better. Just keep the windows open.
Awe, welcome home little one !!
OhEmGee that face!!!! She looks like she’s not amused by your picture taking, though.
Poor girl. So glad it was nothing serious!
And the farting isn’t part of her usual routine? Cause it is with my girl.
Big smooches to Zoe.

Thankfully baby Zoe doesn’t usually have a farting problem, unless she eats something awful in the backyard. My sister’s pug farts ALL THE TIME. Ah, but we love our kids despite the smell anyhow : )
aw and she is so cute. glad she is home.
Awwwww. Our beardie had a sensitive tummy when he was small, and oh DEAR GOD the smell! He used to stink us out of the house. Wouldn’t trade it though….they are our babies.
