I think everyone needs a gingham shirt in their wardrobe. They are easy to dress up or down and for a mere $15 this one I picked up at Old Navy is a real steal.

I love the mixture of the check with the diagonal stripes and then the tweed in the cap.

Right now I'm not wearing the heels sans socks outside, I'm sporting this with my black motorcycle boots. It's something crazy like -15 Celcius with the windchill today.

    I’ve never heard of it referred to as a baker boy cap before. Newsboy and poor boy and now baker boy! LOL Seems like every boy out there was wearing the same type of hat before.
    I have to admit I’ve had this hat for about 15 years and I wear it ALL THE TIME. I’m a bit of a hat freak and this is one of my all time favourites.

    I looked at the other colours when I was at Old Navy but I’m happy I stuck with the black and white. It’s just so classic and I am discovering it truly does go with everything as you mentioned.
