I do love a good maxi. One on sale is even better.
Dress – Banana Republic, Bag – TJ Maxx, Necklace – handmade bought at craft show
I love how the stripes in the dress have a slimming effect.
The best thing about this outfit?
Easy peezy.
It is like walking around with your pjs on. It is that comfortable.
I'm so glad I got over the idea that a maxi anything would make me look more mini than I already am.
Vertically challenged sisters…give it a try! I wouldn't steer you wrong.
I am only 5'4" and I look at least 5'5" here.
So worth it.

Love that dress! It’s hard to find a maxi the right length when you are only 5′ 4″ but this is perfect!

I love it! I still have never done a maxi. I visited my sis this week and she had gotten one like this in a coral and beige color that looked fantastic on her. I was quite jealous and may just need to hop on the maxi train with you!

It is well worth it for the extra inch! Looks fabulous. I love the colour. Weird thing – I recognised your blog from seeing your corner in the thumbnail. Hee hee.
I love a good maxi, too! I’m actually wearing one today that is teal and grey chevron striped – small world! 🙂

This is bold and stunning. You look tall and slim in it for sure (well, you always look very fit anyway though…)
I LOVE that color with your skin tone and your hair color! Gorgeous! I always thought it would be harder to wear a maxi as a shorter girl–maybe I should at least try one on someday. 😛
I love that maxi dress! So pretty! I agree that maxis are as comfortable as pajamas. I definitely need more of them in my life!
Lovely – great dress 🙂
Thanks to some little wedge sandals and a little trick of tucking the waist under at the belt so the length turns out perfect : ) Now you know all my secrets ; )

Come on aboard! there is plenty of room. Although you may have problems finding one from the 1940’s …your preferred era for dressing ; )
As a bottle redhead I am a big sucker for green.

In photos I guess we can all be 5’9″ as long as we don’t stand beside anyone else : )

Your sis did an amazing job with the invites!
Once you try one you will wonder why you didn’t start wearing them sooner.

Funny, until you told us you are 5’4″, I would have thought you were tall. Your style choices always make you look tall on the blog. This maxi is FAB. I love blue and green together. Clearly you know what you are doing.
