Last week I was all prepared to spend my birthday alone, hunkered down in front of the TV with a good bottle of Sancerre and 2 new episodes of Girls. Thankfully my husband tore me away from these rather depressing plans, took the day off and spent it with me.
We went out for a long walk in the morning with Zoe and then out for a gourmet lunch at Langdon Hall, an old stylish chateau in Cambridge, Ontario. In the evening we danced and had champagne by the fire. It was one of the best birthdays I've had. Thank you husband! XOX
I decided to wear my new dress from Ruche.
I'm happy with it but it needs a slip. My compromise was wearing tights. Lucky for me it wasn't too hot that day. I just got the shoes I'd ordered to go with this outfit. I had to send back the original pair I bought as they were too small so I will have them in another post.
Here's to another year! Cheers!
Dress – Ruche
Shoes – Naturalizer
Clutch – vintage
