Yes this is how it’s done. Great set and I love these colors. Could you just send this whole outfit my way?!

Good morning! I’m just catching up on posts since we had very spotty wifi in Cabo. I am loving this mix of colors Suzanne.
I agree, with this mix there is no need to ever look washed out. Gorgeous!
Loved your rose garland below and hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day.
xx
PS-considering making the move to WP-would love to hear your thoughts about it.

A clever way to wear pastels.

Yep! This is a lovely style board. I’m trying to decide if the dress I’m sewing is pastel or bright tints with white.

Good idea.

The mint is so pretty with the darker top. Well done my friend.

My blog is TypePad so I don’t have a clue about WordPress. I got the blog ages ago for my business since it was super fast to set up with TypePad and quite cheap. Now I feel that TypePad is limited. For example it isn’t possible to use Disqus with it right now, although they say they are working on integrating it.

I really regret not buying that silk peplum top when I first pinned it well over a year ago. I think I’ve used it in 3 or 4 polyvore sets already.

Dsquared is such a cool Canadian company. The lines are what drew me into the jacket.

This is a great elegant, classy way to wear pastels with out looking like a piece of candy which can often happen when teaming pastels together. Beautiful!

Super great suggestion, I’m taking this to heart, since I love the pastel look.

Interesting… Pastels do wash me out, which is a tragedy since I love them so much. I never really considered this tip of wearing darker colors closer to my face, but I did stumble across a similar realization. I have a pale pink dress that’s nearly the same color as my skin, and it really needs something to break it up a bit. I wore a deep red statement necklace with it, and I was sold on the overall look. Why? Perhaps having the darker color next to my face made it work. Now that I have this explicit tip, I’m going to give it a shot! Thanks! 🙂

I have seen that “scarf wrapped around handle” before at Lisa (Respect the shoes). Keep forgetting it. Such a lovely small idea.
As for pastels… Hmmm I think I won’t buy many.

What’s with this thing??? This is the second time my comment is not published. When I am careful and copy my comment before publishing it… nothing goes wrong. And when I haven’t copied it, it doesn’t go through. Frustrated here.

Sorry Greetje. Typepad, who I host my blog through doesn’t seem to like you and keeps putting your comments in the spam folder…but I still get them, so don’t worry. : )

Me and Typepad should step outside for a moment…..
