Yeah…that has nothing to do with what I’m wearing…but I’m so darn excited about it!
If you are following me on Instagram I will probably be posting photos later today of me lounging in my new tub. Yes…there are no walls around it still…but you will be able to see just how happy I am.
Since we moved into this house 10 years ago I’ve been making do with what I call a “baby bath”. Really it is just a normal bathtub, but by today’s modern spa bathroom standards I now consider it shallow. It was never comfortable to soak in and I can count the number of times I’ve taken a bath in this house on one hand.
I just saw the tub installed! The workers are still here but as soon as I saw it I wanted to jump in to try it out.
Bliss!
I’m going to be able to have baths where more than my legs and bum are covered in water!
It’s the little things folks.
Shoes – Miss Mooz (I adore these ones), Top – Anthropologie, Clutch – Danier (this one is very chic), White Jeans – Marshalls (sim), Necklace – handmade (sim)
This top is the last of birthday gifts from Anthropologie. It was the bold intricate pattern that looks like it was ripped straight out of someone’s sketch book that I fell in love with.
This is the Polyvore set that I created to sell myself this top. I like to sell myself stuff I don’t need, because you know, one can never have enough advertising in their lives.
If you want to see more outfits of me wearing these same jeans;
white jeans with a vest and chambray shirt,
white jeans, peach and grey wicked Polyvore set
What is one of the little things that gets you excited?

ps…Funny about the bathtub…I feel that same way about my heated toilet seats!!!

I always love the patterns at Anthro. They are each like works of art.
I am thrilled with our heat pump we put in a couple of years ago. Warmer in the winter and air-conditioning right about NOW!

Food – food always gets me excited! Doesn’t get more ‘little thing excitement’ than that. I love this shoe brand – I always see their stuff on Modcloth and get really sad that literally nowhere sells them over here. These blue ones are so pretty… We don’t have enough beautiful shoes over here!

Gorgeous top – you cannot pick a bad piece at Anthro, imho. Pls post pics of you lounging in the tub (suitably edited for the children) with a glass of Chardonnay.
I got excited when I bought a new broom – it does sweep cleaner – so that’s how thrilling my life is. xox

True, I’ve never been able to imagine taking a bath being a comfortable endeavor in the typical bathtub. I can’t even remember the last time I took a bath…probably in childhood. Enjoy your new, awesome bathtub! I really like the print of this top, I guess your polyvore advertising was a pretty good idea!

I have to tell you…I have a huge two person jetted bathtub and I hate to take baths! I have used that tub MAYBE 4 or 5 times the 13 years I have lived in this house. I prefer our two person shower.
Congrats though! Love the top too!

I have to agree – there’s nothing like sinking into a hot bath after a long day. The woman who lived in our house before us was very tall, so she had a huge tub put into the master bath. I love your top and shoes – so beautiful!

Now don’t you look great! Love the outfit (and those rings are superb!). Ah, and the shoes, mustn’t forget those, tootsie stunning.
Hmm, let’s see…I get excited finding something that catches my eye and thinking what I could do with it. It could be a crafty item, or an item of clothing. It’s the thinking in my mind what to create with it, or how to wear it, that I like so much. The thrill of endless possibilities!!!

Um…this outfit is awesome! Everything-the jewelry, the bright shoes, the deep-colored jacket, the fun pattern…LOVE it. You have such a great sense for putting things together. And, yes, I would be talking nonstop about a new bathtub too. Enjoy it!

A new bath is exciting. Its just as well I didn’t blog when we got ours, I’d have posted it constantly!
Love the print on the top and that gorgeous shoes. I spotted an Anthropologie when we were in Bath (ha, weird coincidence) the other day and I squealed “Suzanne” excitedly at it. xxx

Ha ha! It probably squealed back “Suzanne is such a sucker!”

Karaoke. You know the kind with private rooms and a great sound system that makes anyone sounds like Mariah Carey. Back in Malaysia, there are many Karaoke center with countless private rooms that you can rent and sing your lungs out in privacy. That way, you can make a fool out of yourself (sing on a table, try out that rock song no one could sing or whatever) without anyone watching but your company. I love that. Every time I’m home, I have to get my fix and give others their fix of cringing when I sing 😉 Anyhoo.. the tub sounds great. I hardly use mine but every time I am in a hotel room, I would. Strange, right? Love the outfit and kudos for rocking that white jeans!

Ha! Tubs are the best! Mine is gross — my bathroom is still circa 1953 (it’s a “Mamie Pink” one!), endured 20+ years of Severo’s musician roommates before I moved in, and needs some deep cleaning. I still soak in it, though — despite the unpleasant aesthetics.
The last time I wore white jeans, I met Severo. 18 years ago!
What’s one of my “little things”? Little, big: music. The right song can motivate in a most magical way.
Thanks for linking!

Indeed a very pretty top. With beautiful sandals and a cute clutch. Those white jeans are a staple now, aren’t they? (Is this the right expression?)
Lovely birthday gifts.

How gorgeous is the detail of those shoes! And the print of the top is wonderful against the white jeans.
I’m not surprised you’re so excited about your new tub. When one bathes, one should always be able to wallow up to one’s neck in water like a hippo. If only one’s legs and bum are cover, one might as well sit in a large puddle instead. Here endeth the lesson.

Those are fab shoes – great colour and the front ruffle detail is so pretty! Congratulations on the new bathtub and may you enjoy many long, luxurious soaks in it. I’m not a “soak-in-the-tub” girl; I prefer a hot shower.
