Well it was more like a nightmare. Some mean girl pointed at me and said, "You're the one that takes too many photos of herself and pretends to know something about fashion. What do you think you're doing? Are you that vain that you have to keep taking photos of yourself? Do you really think anyone cares what you're wearing or about your opinion?"
The funny thing that is in the dream I couldn't think of how to reply until later in the same dream when I realized I should have said that, " hello!…it's a fashion blog…that's what I'm supposed to do."
Instead, as in real life, I was too shocked and stunned to reply.
Hmmmm what do you think my subconscious is trying to tell me?

After I started sharing on Visible Monday, I had a couple of dreams where I felt like I was being sort of attacked. I think it was because I was afraid of making myself vulnerable to forces I can’t predict. Maybe yours has to do with the comment about the poodle sweater. Anyway, who cares about the mean girls? You look great and you have something helpful to tell people, but not everyone will like you.
My goodness, what a strange dream. Glad it was only a dream, because that girl sounds really mean!

So true. As women we seem to want everyone to like us. Obviously that isn’t the case. A blogger really sets themselves up for criticism.
I always have horrible dreams. Sometimes I just want to trade places with my husband because he seems like he has the best dreams. I dream people are mean or worse, they are trying to murder me and he dreams he is the president of the us! lol what’s up with that?

Interesting – I LOVE dream interpretation, and I totally get your mindset about the taking photos for your blog thing. I still have not told many people about my blog (and I’ve been doing it now for almost 4 years). My mom doesn’t know, because she just would NOT get it. Plus I feel like if she did read it, I would almost have to censor myself, and I don’t want to do that. Ah well!!
