I have a 15% off coupon coming up for my birthday from Anthropologie and have been browsing online to see if there is anything tempting enough to make the hazardous trip to the store. Hazardous because I always find much more than what I’m looking for. Now I’m trying to do my utmost to avoid going into the store altogether. I think I’m up to seven weeks since I was last there. Yay me!
Loving Lately
So far these are my top picks, a couple of these items are from Mod Cloth and no I don’t get a birthday discount, but they are so much cheaper than Anthropologie I figure it all works out to be the same in the end.
I really love that pineapple container and could see it either on my fireplace mantle or at my bar. I blame my new found obsession on pineapples from following the fun blog A Beautiful Mess.
There is a whole series of those dessert plates with different hand painted images which I LOVE. Problem is that food always looks nicer on a solid coloured plate. They would be so sweet for my tea parties though!
The dress is stunning but I already own a fabulous original from the 70’s that is quite similar.
Which would you choose?
Do coupons entice you into shopping? Or am I the only sucker out there?

If you are a sucker (I say not!) then I am in the club! Love all these shoes, the frog plate, and well – everything. I know a birthday is coming for you soon, me too (the 30th). Must scour the webz for coupons now. xox

Coupons are a great marketing device in my opinion! Especially around my birthday when they give you $10 or more—that’s real money in my head (but of course I end up spending more—so who’s the fool?)
Here—let me be an enabler —it’s your birthday—-and a significant one at that! Go to the store and have a blast—it’s blog material!!

I never knew I wanted a dinner plate with a chameleon on it until I saw this! He’s ace!
I saw Anthropolgie in Bath last week and immediately thought of you! xxx

I pretty much love everything up there. You would look amaze!! In that dress. Anthro coupons are pretty much a gateway drug for me. Happy Shopping!

Hands up…I am a big sucker for a voucher (or a tasty discount code)
“Here is £10 for being so great”
Whoops I spent £100!
I am that fool….but still enjoy the thrill of it. XXX

I would love to have a reptile on my plate, especially if it could it change colour to match my food or my mood. That would be cool! Anyway, I do think it’s awesome as it is.
I love your selection of heels, mostly block or sturdy, and I am going in that direction more lately. You would look awesome in that dress.
I’m starting to shop online more often, especially for non-clothing items, but give me an in-store sale and I’m all over it, or a $5 or $10 rack.

I love 3 and 6. I get birthday coupons and forget to spend them! I know! Not a natural shopper.
I hope you have a lovely indulge for your special day. Happy Birthday!!!

coupons definitely entice me…BUT they entice me more when they don’t have restrictions! haha.
I love the Anthropologie coupons though since they rarely have deals like other shops.

Love everything – especially the floral heels. Coupons get me every time. I’ve had to stay out of stores (both real ones and online ones) during my shopping ban. The sales are too tempting!

The chameleon plate is very cool, but I’ve rarely tempted by fancy dishware. I must be the only person who doesn’t get excited by coupons. The places I shop never have them! I wish I could wear those grey and orange sandals.

Love the colors in the dress and so funny , I was debating on those same #6 shoes yesterday! Live the cut out and style. I will look for online coupons or sales.

Another sucker here! They get us don’t they, the barstards! That chameleon plate is hilarious. That’s what I call good kitsch! I think I’d go for #3 sandals and the bag. I like the pattern of it.

There are only four words that will make me feel pressured to shop {online}…. FREE SHIPPING NO MINIMUM. When I see that deal I feel like I MUST drop everything and shop as if the deal will never ever ever come around again. I almost go into a panic trying to find something to buy so I don’t waste a good deal.

Ooh! I love number 7. Those shoes would be worn to death this summer. I really only shop when I can get something on sale or have a coupon. Except bras, buy what you really need regardless of the sale price.
You are such a artistic and crafty person that I think you can do the plate thing yourself. Thrift some great plates and then go for it. I have this pinned as a reminder to try too. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/494340496568541866/

So good to get a coupon! Sometimes they entice me to shopping, but only if I am looking for something and then I see that the discount expires soon, so I grab the thing, yes! I loooved the pineapple container, I think it would be such a nice acquisition! I hope you show what you bought, now I am curious! Bisous!

The #6 saffron shoes are my favorite. The ones in the link have a peep-toe and geometric cutouts on the sides. Perfect look. Just wish that they were completely manmade – the lining is leather. Coupons definitely appeal to me and encourage me to buy something when a price is higher than I want to pay.

Let’s see do coupons entice me? At anthro, YES! So impressed you’ve managed to stay away for 7 weeks (are you sure you’re feeling ok, haha). I vote on the pineapple container for sure and the (3) shoes, they’re totally you! Pineapples are my obsession this summer as well (last year it was the flamingo). Im wearing my pineapple printed skirt as I type this. In fact, why don’t you tell Robert as part of your 50th birthday to fly you here and I’ll throw a pineapple theme tea party! I think I’ll call Mel right now, haha.

I love the pineapple and it would fit perfectly in my house as it is totally white!
Happy shopping!

I used to be “tricked” into buying things every time I got a coupon! I’ve made a conscious effort not to be influenced by coupons and sales as much but to really focus on if I need an item and if it’s “perfect.” In the past, I’ve compromised too many times for something I deemed “good enough” because it was a good deal…
You picked some beautiful items! I could convince myself that I “needed” them all… 🙂 And I think I truly do need #7!
