I blame it all on Beverly. As in Hills.
I never would have picked up this silk blouse, Beverly convinced me it'd be great. Oh sure she didn't actually tell me, but subliminally her force was with me when I was shopping and she was the one pushing for it I swear.
Her simple chic style started invading my brain when I began following her on Bloglovin' a while back. It was subtle at first, and then suddenly everywhere I turned I wondered…hmmm…would Beverly like that? Would Beverly wear that? And then of course I answered myself (cause I'm a freak) ah yeah, I think she can wear anything. She has legs that are a mile long, a wicked cool haircut, funky hipster glasses and an uber thin physique. She can wear a paper bag and look good. Of course she'd have have the perfect accessories to match that paper bag… insane lace up sandals and a killer clutch, just because well, she's Beverly…duh!
Honestly I'm not a stalker Beverly.
I can see her influence here. It may not be as striking or as bold as what she does but her style has definitely rubbed off on me.
Do you find yourself subconciously being influenced when you are shopping by other bloggers styles that you admire?

This look is really fun and fresh on you Suzanne-I like the mix up very much.
You ask a great question about bloggers that I follow for fashion. There are so many it would be hard to pick just one. It’s always a treat to take a peek at fashion inspiration all around for ideas. Thanks for your kind comments on Stylemindchic and I am excited for your upcoming trip to France you lucky lady.
Have a wonderful time-swoon!
xx, Heather

All of your lovely photos have got me salivating in anticipation. I’ve visited France since I lived there but have not back to Nice in years so this will be a homecoming of some sorts.
Thanks for dropping by : )

Well, well, well. I’m more than happy to take responsibility for that outfit!!!! It is fantastic 🙂
Thanks for the awesome shout-out! The paper bag comment had me rolling! I’ve read you post about 5 times and I’m still smiling as I write this comment.
As to your question, I’m constantly listening to other blogger’s voices in my head when I’m out and about. I pick out an item, know it was worn successfully because I saw it on Ann or Deborah, and confidently buy it. It’s as if I had 3 dozen personal shoppers in my head telling me “it will work, trust me” 🙂
Again Suzanne, thanks! You made my day!
