We recently visited the Royal Botanical Gardens. They have a lovely sunken rock garden where we took these photos.

People were staring at me and my girlfriend navigating the steep rocks and uneven paths in our kitten heels. It wasn't easy climbing up the steep steps made from rocks when you're wearing a high waisted form fitting pencil skirt. I hung in there and managed not to fall backwards on my ass. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.

What I did:

Kept the top simple with just a t-shirt in a solid colour keeping the focus on the necklace and brightly coloured skirt.

Went for a sleek look and kept everything close to the body.

Added some additional pattern on my bottom half with leopard kitten heels. Leopard print goes with anything and plays off the sexy silhouette of the high waisted pencil skirt.

For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while you may recognize this lovely skirt. It was the subject of this funny Well that’s awkward!Imagine my surprise when thrift/consignment store shopping a week ago when out of the corner of my eye who should I see boldly staring right at me but that little sneaky skirt, in my size! Serendipity, kismet and all the stars had aligned to offer up this super sexy number to me once again. Who was I to say no? No one. That's right. I didn't have the right to refuse fate. It was too strong. I pulled out my credit card right then and there and did the only thing I could do, buy that dang skirt. The universe was telling me it was meant to be mine. Destiny forced my hand on this one. Honest.
