12 Spring Shoes I Can Walk In
I’m always on the lookout for cute shoes or sandals that will suit my fussy feet.
My feet aren’t happy in super high or totally flat shoes. I need an arch support and some kind of cushion under my toes if I’m going to try to wear them all day.
Did you know that you lose the cushioning in the ball of your feet as you age?
I wondered why the heck I could no longer stand wearing my high heels like I used to. I’m sure somewhere people are getting fat and Botox injected into the balls of their feet so they can still wear high heels.
Just add that onto the growing list of things to look forward to as you age.
Growing old…it ain’t for sissies.
This year the vintage inspired low block heel is back in style which is right up my ally.
I’m also partial to wedge heels with a low pitch, as I find them much easier on the feet. Ones with a cork sole are my favourite.
I’ve been wearing the same Clarks wedge cork sole sandals for years now which my feet and I adore. They are the only ones I take with me when travelling. They are a bit like these but in beige suede and they go with everything.
I also own a similar pair in rust.
I also spotted these bold pink wedges by Clarks which are sweet and colourful and similar to the two pairs I own and swear by.
I’m not willing to totally surrender to my aging body conspiring against my style vibe. I’ll keep looking for comfortable attractive shoes that aren’t the black Nike’s that I wear daily around the house to soothe my plantar fasciitis.
As Winston Churchill said, ” We will never surrender!”
And yeah, I know he wasn’t talking about spring shoes… but this is a war people.
Any of these spring shoes tempt you? Or are you one of the lucky ones that can wear high, low or flat shoes and be happy?
Do you have any shoe brands that you swear by?
***On a side note…I’m having some difficulty with my blog and the comment section as you can’t see other people’s comments. This came after trying to have another issue fixed on the blog from an online company. I’m hoping in the next few days to have this rectified. If anyone knows of a reputable IT person with experience in WordPress please let me know!
