Everything about this look is easy-going casual …until you hit the shoes. I love these shoes, they are cute, pink, with quirky embellishments however they have a 3 inch heel and I can't wear them walking for more than 20 minutes in one stretch. So basically into the restaurant, back to the car type of deal.
I am not one of those people that can walk around in high heels for a full day of marathon shopping without needing a stretcher double martini pit-stop every 30 minutes to numb the pain that once was my toes. It is impossible very rare to find a pair of high heels that don't hurt my feet to the point of screaming at and kicking strangers severe headache after 30 minutes. I take no responsibility for illegal infractions my mood after I have been punishing myself wearing squishy too-tall-heels for more than 30 minutes.
I do have boots that I can wear longer because I normally size up to an 8 in boots just so that I have lots of luxurious space for my tootsies to swell up spread out when I walk on them too long.
How I *wish* I had the well trained feet of Jeeda, most likely born with 5 inch stilettos strapped to her tiny baby feet, but alas I am but a mere lowly mortal that would rather wear some chunky boots or better yet runners (did I just write that?) when I need to get around for a long time on my feet.
So that was my very long way of telling you that I like everything about this funky outfit but that I might end up switching out the heels for a more comfy boot. Whew… I know…a bit long winded…I'm not thinking straight…I blame the shoes.
Giving the pug baby some love.
