So here is the final dress option for the Swing Out To Victory Dance this weekend.
My hair didn't turn out as cool as last time. I guess I need more practise.
I bought the dress at Cabaret Vintage when we found out we were going to the dance a few weeks back.
I took it in a bit, had it shortened and have a little petticoat underneath which I see is peaking out a bit. I will need to tighten the elastic on the waist so it doesn't keep slipping should I decide to wear it.
It is amazing how the hat goes with all three dresses.
I've included some vintage rhinestone earrings here too that I picked up at an Estate sale.
I acquired yesterday's dress when I went back to Cabaret Vintage about 2 weeks ago for a huge sale and Tai was sweet enough to discount the piece enough that I simply could not leave it behind.
That is how I ended up buying two dresses for one dance.
I won't be making any costume changes at the dance so I need to just pick one.
Which one do you think I'll choose?
I'm hoping to get photos of hubby and my girlfriend all dressed up.

The green is very pretty on you. It’s a tough call between numbers 2 and 3, but I think I prefer 2. But if you want a brighter color, then go for 3.

Oh Oh! A third choice… I’m in the minority here…I love look #1, as in weak at the knees love. There’s just something about it. Maybe it’s the self fabric belt, or maybe I just imagine a lady from the 40’s seeing the beautiful red/pink colour of this dress and knowing it will make her the belle of the ball.
I know it’s not going to win…you look beautiful in each dress…have a wonderful, magical evening!

Amazing how good they all look on you. You were born in the wrong area. I vote for the third one. More in tune with the season. The first one is very pretty as well, but very summery.
Really, really good style. And of course styled well too, with the hair, the hat and shoes. Great job.

Well, I like looks 2 and 3, but three is my favorite. The skirt flares more (more fun for twirls) and green is so lovely on you. Gorgeous.
These dresses are amazing. Hard to choose one but I think I like the red and pink patterned dress. They all look like they were made for you!

Whoa, tough choice, and I realize that right now, you’re probably AT the dance. They are all brilliant dresses, but #3 has the fullest, swingiest skirt, so it’s my fave for dancing. I think a peek o’ petticoat is a good thing 🙂
