So here are some of my Alaska photos as I promised. I was disappointed with the shots of the whales, since we were able to see a whole pod of them "bubble feeding" but you can't tell with the shots I got because my camera doesn't have a good zoom on it. Once I get my sister-in-laws photos I'll post some of them. She got much better shots. This is what it should have looked like,
and this is my shot…don't laugh, there are whales there I swear!
BIG family shot. The only people missing is my younger sister Jay who has a mental illness and my niece Morgan. Too bad they weren't with us. We missed them.
Me, Reese and Rylee, my adorable nieces.
My Mom, Dad and hubby toasting as we left port.
Rylee had her 10th birthday while on the ship. She only has one candle because she is a little self conscious about her age. Ha ha. A little tid bit, she is wearing a handed down top of mine. I always give my sister the clothes I don't want anymore and now Rylee can fit into some of them. Scary!
Leaving Seattle port you can see the Space Needle in the background there.
Our first port of call, Ketchikan.
Everyone was trying on hats in this gift shop. This one looked great on Robert.
Scenic cruising to the fjord.
I will post more photos soon showing the fun hike we did in Juneau and train ride we took in Skagway.
