40+ Adventurous style solutions for the uncommon woman
A big thank you to my hubby who let me borrow his Hurley hat for this look.
Bag Lucky, Shoes, military jacket and jeans all TJ Maxx, brown cashmere sweater Harrods, burgundy shirt H & M, necklace handmade by me : )
Just a fun casual look that I wore today letting my inner artist come out. I can see that my favorite jeans are looking rattier than normal…I will need to patch them up or get some new ones. I find it very hard to find good straight legged jeans that will go over my boots (and my man legs!) and not make me look huge. A darker wash without any of the rips or bleach stains would me look taller and thinner but I love the artsy texture on these jeans, like I just finished painting or sculpting.
I do the rolled cuff to show off my cool boots but be wary…doing this will make you look shorter. It creates a line at your ankles that basically cuts your feet off from your legs. I figure I paid good money for these amazing sexy leather boots from Italy and I'm willing to sacrifice an inch in height to show these babies off.
