Last week I showed you this dress/jacket worn as a dress…this week I'm showing it worn as a jacket. My base is my jacket/dress in rust and now I've added a whole bunch of new layers to this outfit.

I've punched up the accessories.

Belted it over my jeans with a light blue shirt.

Added some funky shoes and socks.

I think it changes the whole concept of the original piece. Try this same idea out yourself by experimenting with your clothes using layering techniques both with items of clothing and accessories. It's a practical way to "shop in your closet" and create new outfits without actually having to buy anything. My husband would approve ; )
