I'm starting to pull items for the @torontovintage

I'm starting to pull items for the @torontovintageclothingshow happening Sept 28th & 29th. It's overwhelming. I never know what's going to sell. ⁣

I'm bringing a bunch of coats and I'm considering switching things up and bringing some concert tees, hats, sweaters, jewelry and maybe some homewares with me rather than my usual inventory of dresses. Dresses aren't selling for me like they used to. It'll all depend on what I can squeeze into our SUV. Packing that thing is always such a challenge for me. ⁣

I find I'm reaching for my dresses a little less often than previously. They are still my favourite for summer but as we transition into fall jeans are my preferred choice. ⁣

Went out for high tea this weekend in a little town called Erin. Afterwards we popped over to the Fashion History Museum in Cambridge. They have a pop-up shop where I scored some fabulous vintage pieces that I can't wait to share with you. Last slide gives you a bit of a sneak peek.

Apparently green is on trend this fall. I love the colour green as you can see by my choice of sofa.⁣

These glasses cost me big bucks. I initially put in progressive lenses and then had them removed and replaced with these tinted lenses. I'm at the point where if I need to read a fabrication contents label on an item of clothing while I'm thrifting I often resort to taking a photo and then enlarging it. It's a whole thing. 😂🙄😫 ⁣

I thought the progressive lenses would be the solution for this. Nope. The progressives gave me a massive headache. I can't be bothered to take my readers with me when I thrift. ⁣
⁣
I don't need much distance correction as I had laser eye surgery done many years ago. I don't wear glasses normally and only have distance vision glasses for night driving to help with glare. I think going from wearing no glasses except for reading to wearing progressives all day every day is too difficult. At least for me. ⁣
