Green Velvet For Christmas

I sold myself this green velvet blazer by creating this Polyvore set with it.

There aren’t enough companies marketing to me 24/7 so I like to do my part and sell myself something extra that I don’t need.

That is the problem with being a style blogger, it fuels my addiction.

This jacket is quite festive looking. It suits the Holiday Season.

Do you have a favourite memory of Christmas as a kid?

Food is often a huge part of the holidays and sneaking downstairs to my Grandma’s cellar where she stored her plastic ice cream buckets full of shortbread, gingerbread and specialty German Christmas cookies is one of my favourite memories.

After an eight hour road trip to my Grandma’s house we’d race downstairs, often my Dad in the lead, to the well stocked and perfectly organized cold room and hunt for our favourite cookies.  Grandma would holler down warning us, “Get out of there! You’ll spoil your appetite for supper!”

I miss my Grandma.

Memories…the best gift of all.
