So I started in altering this hobo bag with the idea I would create a very large fabric flower. 

Then I thought it needed something on the large shoulder strap and I added bands of fabric and ribbon…

 Then I thought why not add on some more embellishment details…

After I noticed that it hung open so I added on a flower button closure on the front…

and back…

 I realize that I now need to go in and add a bit of fabric lining so my hand stitching isn't visible.  This project just goes on and on and on!

Here is how it looks now…

It'll be one of the pieces I have for sale at the Wearable Art Show in Mississauga this week.
