We visited a new vintage shop in Brantford called Netty Vintage. These are the two treasures I came home with…
I've draped the necklace over the bag.
The bag is pristine and was a whopping $5. Best deal ever. The necklace is just stunning and from France. It is just so unique I couldn't leave it behind even though the price was quite a bit more than $5. I figured in the end they balanced each other out though…right (wink wink)?
Here is the bag in action with my high waisted jeans…
I was going through my closet trying to get rid of some stuff that I don't wear often and I tried these jeans on. I'm not sure about them. I think either they shrunk 2 sizes or I need to lose at least 5 lbs maybe more to make me feel better about myself when I wear them. Also I need to lower the hem that I now find too short.
I'm just not used to the way the pants fit so high up now. For the moment they are still in my closet…we will see how long I keep them there.
Do you find yourself holding onto items in your closet that don't fit you as you'd like but you're not 100% willing to give up on them so you just keep hanging on, hoping that one day you will magically pull them out of the dark back corner of your closet, slip them on and they will look as good or better than the day you saw them in the store window on the size 0 mannequin? Or am I the only one with that pie-in-the-sky fantasy?
