I try to stay away from lots of black in the summer but I think that this skirt has so much colour that pairing it with black or white is ideal. White isn't the best next to my face so I've stuck with black. I think this version of the skirt when paired with black is more sophisticated and better for an evening out for some refreshing martinis…yes please!

What I did: 

– Everything but the skirt is black allowing it to shine and be the focus of the outfit.

– Played with some textures in the blacks, satin in the clutch, glitter on the shoes, and bling on the jewelry.
