Did you enjoy the red carpet fashion last night? Which were your favourite Oscar dresses 2015?

I thought overwhelmingly people played it safe. This is the one night of the year to go big or go home…and a few people went home.

There was an awful lot of white, neutral, black and a few pops of red, which was a welcome relief in a sea of neutrals.

Here are my favourite picks of the evening…

Rosemary Pike is stunning in this red floral gown.

 

Although I’m not a fan of white this dress created such a beautiful silhouette on Reese Witherspoon.

 

Emma Stone knows how to stand out wearing of all colours…chartreuse. Her hair and dress are very old style Hollywood glam.

 

I thought Laura Dern made a daring choice with this dress. It looks like armour Daenerys Targaryen would wear from Game of Thrones but I love it. She looks powerful. I do wish she had swept her hair out of her face for the photo though.

 

And this last one I’m sneaking in there because I love Kelly Osborne’s gown and styling.

 

Zoë’s least favourite picks of the night were…a dress that incorporated too many ideas on a gal that looks unhappy with her choice.

 

And an outfit that used too much material.
