When I bought these distressed jeans about 7 years ago I thought they were pretty hip. Then one day after walking the dog a couple of weeks ago I looked at myself in the mirror and decided they didn’t look cool anymore. They just looked old and crappy.
I know there are lots of people that still like distressed jeans, I have another couple of pairs that I will never give up, but these ones just weren’t working for me anymore. They made me feel like a bum.
So I decided to DIY the crap out of those jeans and turn them into the “latest and greatest” patchwork jean trend. I think this is about the 3rd time I’ve lived through that trend.
Don’t believe that BS if you lived through it the first time you don’t get to do it again.
Do what you want.
Put patches on your jeans!
Life is too short to worry about naysayers telling you what to do or wear.
If you don’t have ripped jeans that need help just go to your local thrift store and buy some for $2 and turn them into some uber chic designer jeans.
If you don’t believe me look at these ones selling for a mere $800! What???
Now go and sell your new designer creations on Etsy.
Build a wildly successful home business
and make a million bucks.
Heck make 10 million bucks!
Who is stopping you?
Someone needs to pay me for all these great ideas.
And by someone I mean you, of course,
when you make your
million 10 million bucks…
don’t forget the little people when you’re all rich and famous!
How to DIY Patchwork Jeans
It is so flippin’
complicated simple you will die.
Even my pug could do it.
Of course she didn’t. She didn’t even bother to wake up from snoring to help.
But I’m sure the thought was there.
Or maybe she was just thinking about bacon.
Same thing, really.
difficult easy it is making my brain melt.
Do you like patchwork style jeans?
Or have you lived through the trend one too many times?
