It always amazes me the things I can find when thrifting. I recently stumbled upon a cache of dead stock maxi dresses all made in Canada. The pattern design is stunning, a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns. This is truly a wearable art maxi dress.
Wearable Art Maxi Dress
I’ve styled this with my Elvis blue velvet booties but I will be taking this on our winter resort vacation in March. I’ll be pairing it with my wedge sandals at the resort. The dress is made out of super stretchy material and can be crushed into a ball in the suitcase and never wrinkle. The perfect travel dress.
I just realized you can see my sport socks. Sex-hay! Ha ha! Oops. Good thing I’ll be wearing sandals at the resort.
I purchased a couple more of these dresses as they all still had their tags on. I’ve got two for sale in my Etsy store, dress one, dress two. Both size M/L.
It is such a shame when Canadian companies aren’t successful in fashion even when their products are high quality unique pieces like this.
If you are interested I wrote a post about what to wear for a week at a resort when we last went to Cuba. Looking back it would appear that I’m addicted to this type of dress for my resort vacations. I think it is because the dresses are so comfortable and still make me feel good about myself.
Isn’t that the key to ideal dressing?
Comfort and style living in perfect harmony with each other.
Linking up with the lovely Patti for Visible Monday.
