And finally the big reveal! This is us just before we left for the wedding.
I decided to go with the classic black since I was able to pair it with my large brimmed black hat. It was so hot that I didn't want to be caught in the sun without protection. It's too bad I didn't get a photo of me with my hat and sunglasses, very Audrey Hepburn.
Robert fooled everyone into thinking this was a tux. A well fitted black suit paired with a sexy silk bow tie and proper covered button men's dress shirt makes it all work.
Here are a few pics from the wedding which was, by all accounts, simply spectacular. The best wedding I've ever been to. Yes it was hot, yes we had to wait a bit between the ceremony and the meal, but overall, what a party! 4 great bands, 1 orchestra, 1 crooner, 1 party band and one Brazilian band. A ballet, great food, free flowing champagne, open bar, ice bar, live performance art, photo booth, dessert bar, 15 minutes of spectacular fireworks and people rolling real cuban cigars on the spot. It was simply unbelievable. Congratulations Kerry and Edie and thanks for such a fun time!
