Seriously…I did actually walk for over 2km at a 1.5% incline in these shoes today…not because I'm a shoe freak stubborn enough to insist on wearing gorgeous foot frocks even when on the treadmill. No, this is because I'm trying to break my very bad habit of constantly buying shoes that I cannot walk in for more than 15 minutes without forming pillow sized blisters on my tender feet. I have at least 10-15 pairs of shoes that I probably cannot walk upright in beyond 10-15 minutes without needing either 1/2 bottle of Moet to keep me going, or a good 1/2 bottle of red wine chased with 2 extra strength Tylenol for good measure. After my treadmill try-out…although I was able to walk in them for the full 30 minutes, they left my one foot sore enough for a bandaid and gave me a large blister where I've never had one before. So, as much as I absolutely fell in love with these caramel leather Coach wedges with the C insignia on the wedge…I will sadly say my sweet goodbyes to them tomorrow when I reluctantly return them to StyleSense where I'm sure they will seduce some other poor gal with lofty fashion sense, but no practicle sense.
