I put this look together for New Year's Eve but ended up wearing my sparkly shorts instead. ( Can you believe that I didn't get one photo of what I wore on New Year's Eve? Bad, bad blogger! )
I still plan on wearing this out one evening though. Maybe in February for our "when we met" anniversary.
Don't you love that sparkly belt? I saw it at Anthropologie and thought I would make my own but honestly when it went on sale I figured it'll be faster and cheaper just to buy it than DIY it.
My sister has told me that she thought my top looks like I'm wearing a bathing suit…hmmmmm I don't think that is a good thing. Whatevs, I love the colour, plus it'll be handy should I decide to do some hot tubing in my non-existent hot tub.

Now that you mention it, I do se the resemblance between the top and a swimsuit, but if you hadn’t said anything, I don’t think I would have ever noticed!
And I love that sparkly belt! It definitely takes the whole outfit to New Year’s Ever glam!
Thanks for popping by Ruth : )
Really I should just say it is a swimsuit and start a new trend : )
Nice snag with that Anthropologie belt! That is perfect! 😉

Love the tulle skirt and the sparkly belt – would have loved to see you in your New Years Eve sparkly shorts outfit too! But you know sometimes it’s more important to focus on partying than blogging!
That belt is beyond gorgeous and I love that skirt. I’m crazy for tulle!
