Yes I'm back.
And yes, I am very sad to be back.
We had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend Jamaica, Sunset Oasis Resort in Montego Bay (No I'm not getting paid anything for saying that, in fact…don't go. I'm worried this place will become too popular once word gets out.)
The weather was perfect.
The water was warm and crystal clear.
Snorkeling right from the beach.
The people were fabulous.
And the food was delicious.
{sigh}
Don't mind me.
It may take some time before I get off of Jamaica time and back onto Toronto time.

So jealous…looks like a wonderful time!
Looks like a slice of heaven, Suzanne. Romantic, peaceful and warm, ahhh. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday, and I hope you ease gently back into home life. xox

It all looks wonderful! I have rarely been to beaches that have water that color – I need to get out more! You look amazing, and I think you look even more gorgeous with less make-up. So glad you got a chance to get away from the Winter From Hell!
Looks like a fabulous time!!! with all the snow we still have lingering in Toronto, I don’t blame you from wanting to stay of Jamaica time. Visiting from Visible Mondays…hugs, C. (HHL)
Sigh…..someday maybe!!! It looks amazing!!
Looks like paradise! You two are such a sweet couple. Glad you had a great time and soaked up the sun. Hope it’s not too bad easing back to reality.

Ah-mazing! Jealous. 🙂
I don’t know whether to be jealous or happy for you! Ha! It’s gotta suck to come back, but I bet your little fur baby was happy to see you…

Oh, such beautiful photos! The place looks like paradise, so no wonder you are uncomfortable to be back to reality. Love that look with the hat!
Yay YOU!! FABULOUS!!
This looks like a dream! Looking great in the swimsuit too!

Beach perfection! Looks as though your little get away was full of fun in the sun. I know I’ve said this before , but you two are a beautiful couple. And, you go bikini girl!
Oooh, looks like a lux stay! Good for you! If you’re like me, you’ve soaked up more than sun…holidays always seem to inspire me creatively. And yes, you do rock that swimsuit girl!
oh wow, the pictures look gorgeous! Glad you had an amazing holiday, and hopefully it doesn’t get too crowded the next time you convince your hubby to take you haha.
Happy couple in the sun, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
So romantic.

Ahhh, Jamaica and you both look utterly fabulous! You are rocking that bikini – the pain of shopping for it was well worth it! – and you and your husband are a lovely couple. Welcome home. xxx
Jamaica is in my bucket list for a long while.. looks stupendous and glad you had a fabulous time 🙂

Omigosh, it looks just so lush! You are rocking your beachy attire, Suzanne. Hope you have returned refreshed and renewed. There’s just nothing like a relaxing holiday. Xo
I would be sad to be back, too!! That looks like an amazing trip!
Glad that you had such a fab holiday, Suzanne. Your Jamaica pictures are gorgeous and you look pretty spectacular yourself too;-).
Good luck with adjusting and hopefully Zoe can help you a bit with that;-). Who takes care of her when you are gone?
Has you computer been repaired?
Welcome back! You look bloody gorgeous in your bikini and massive hat!
My brother loved how all the houses in Kingston opened their doors at night and sold cheap rum and fried fish. xxx
Just beautiful! every single pic is just beautiful, and you two look gorgeous and so relaxed, welcome back x x x
You look gorgeous and very mellow! Oh, what a tropical beach and warm temperatures can do for one’s outlook and mood. Love your beachwear looks – hot damn girl! I want to snorkel down at the beach and eat delicious food oceanside…and to just plain languish in the warmth. Lucky lady! Thanks for a wonderful vicarious vacation. Don’t rush your re-entry, now!
Zoe went to stay with neighbours that have 2 pugs. Lucky for us!
I am currently dog sitting another little pug, Ginger. I hope to get some photos of her with Zoe. She looks totally different from Zoe as she is a brindle pug.
Computer is on the mend…so far a few issues with my external network drive not always working but I may have resolved it. Fingers crossed!
Yep…the only time I don’t have a hat on is when I’m swimming pretty much and even then I will sometimes wear a baseball cap. Both my husband and I burned something terrible one year when we were in Mexico snorkelling and I vowed it would never happen again.
The fish was good : )
It was so great to get away.
I was pretty obsessed with my beachwear! LOL For every bathing suit I had a different cover up. I had 3 with me. I need to get photos of what I packed since I felt I did brilliantly, wearing everything I took. I am not a light packer but I think this trip I did well.
You got that right!
It was a blast : )
You would love it. Although I’m sure you are used to great beaches and hot weather.
I was delighted with that purchase. A last minute find! Thanks for the welcome back : )
Yep ; )
Funny enough when we had some of the waiters take our photo while at supper Robert often said, “this is my new wife!” LOL I suppose it is better than saying this is my “old” wife of 23 years.
Yeah. Just keep that info to yourself will you? ; )
Honestly it was just so nice to let our brains rest. No agendas, nothing to do. I loved it. It used to be we weren’t beach people at all. It was too boring. Now for the past couple of years we have really changed and love just relaxing, reading and snorkelling.
Awww…thanks Trina : )
A couple of years ago I would have never posted a photo of myself online in a bikini. It’s not a close-up shot…but I feel I overcame some kind of mental hurdle.
: )
Hats…I do have an obsession with hats. The larger the better when trying to avoid the sun. This was like a wearing an umbrella on my head. Not so great when the wind picked up…but I loved it otherwise.
Fur baby was delighted but now I am dog sitting her fur baby and Zoe is a bit upset with the whole idea.
Ha ha! My plan worked ; )
Well if our weather would smarten up and start being normal it would be a whole lot easier. As it was I had to walk the dogs today wearing over-the-knee fur lines boots, a down coat, ski gloves and a balaclava. Pretty drastic change from what you see me wearing here.
Put this on your bucket list Tamera! It’ll make your fibromyalgia disappear for a week : )
Please get this ridiculous weather to smarten up! It was supposed to be nice upon my return. ; )
These beaches are vastly different from anything we have in the US, Canada or the UK.
You are too kind about the makeup remark. I always feel my eyes disappear in photos when I am not wearing eye makeup.
It truly was exactly what I needed. Now if it had just lasted another couple of weeks. Mustn’t be greedy though : )
It was delightful.
Thanks for popping by Rebecca : )
Ooooh, Jamaica! Looks so relaxing and warm. What a nice getaway! Thank you for sharing your pictures so I can fantasize about warmer places. I shouldn’t have bragged about Savannah so much. Nashville is not as warm. Boo hoo, I know. I love that photo of you on the beach. And that last sunset shot? Gorgeous! Kyle and I have never really considered Jamaica, so it’s nice to hear you recommend it and to see your photos. It does seem like an affordable option for a tropical getaway!
