I had this post ready before the recent illness in the family. I have decided not to change it and publish it as I'd written it.
The first thing that drew me to this cardigan was…I'm sure you've guessed it already…the colours. Aren't they gorgeous? I want to make a patterned paper with these same colours in it.
I haven't decided if the chevron pattern is working with or against my body type.
I think the pattern is so strong that the eyes get a bit confused. Maybe I need to be wearing pants with that same pattern.
No one will know whether I'm coming or going.
Usually it's only me that can't figure that out.
Skirt, cardigan – Anthropologie, Collar – H&M, Shoes – Rockport
And yes…I did buy a new black tulle skirt.
Why on earth would I need to buy another one you ask?
Because this one has polka dots silly!
And is shorter than my other tulle skirt.
And my husband forced convinced me to buy it since it was only $20.
Yep…he had to bend my rubber arm all the way around.

I actually quite like the two pieces together. I do, however, find my eye is being drawn to the waist. Have you tried it with the sweater untucked? Chevron patterns are cool, and this one is better than cool. And it’s almost like one of those illusions, are the arrows pointing up or down? Oh sweet that hubby said to go for the skirt. At that price?!! Great choice on the shoes too by the way.
Take good care Suzanne!!

I like the colors with your beautiful hair! Great glasses.
Very cute! Love the subtle polka dots in the skirt as well.
Yes, you needed another tulle skirt, because what if something *happened* to your other tulle skirt?? You look wonderful, love this colorful top. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
Super lovely & interesting stripes for a cardigan Suzanne!!!

Hope things a better on your end. Think of you and your family often.
Your choices are always so on the money that you can be confident that you look great in this. Looks very modern, of the moment to my eye. And … there are sure to be a ton of variations in your wardrobe to go with it!
Sad to have such a mean husband who makes you go out and buy tulle skirts!

Thanks for visiting Sita : )
Yes I did try the cardigan untucked but found that it shortened my legs too much like that. As a shortie I find I need to do everything possible to make them look longer. Thanks for the suggestion though : )
Thanks Ann. Those are my freebie glasses from Firmoo! : )
Thanks Ana. I am in total awe of your amazing thrifting skills.
Thanks Patti : )
Thanks for popping by Kristin : )
Thanks Bella. You are the Queen of colour so that is a nice compliment : )
Thanks Caitie. : )
Thanks Kathleen. Seems my hubby has gotten over the worst of it…fingers crossed!
Thanks so much Jan. I think we turned a huge corner on Monday with the pathology report.
Hubby went back to work today for the first time in over a month I think…a very good sign.
You look great! Love you new polka dot skirt, it goes perfect with this blouse!
This is fun! A thin cardi tucked in with a statement necklace. You look great!
