The last time I went to one of my favourite consignment stores I picked up 3 dresses. This was one of them. I knew it would be nice on me because of the colour but I wasn't sure about the neckline.
I don't know if I'm crazy about the footwear I chose. These have a way of cutting my legs off at the ankles when I'm not wearing tights.
This Anthro belt I bought on sale a while back works perfectly with it. Funny how that happens if you always buy items in the same colour palette.
I'm due to head back to the same consignment store this week to see if they sold my items and also take in some more. I hope I will be as lucky.
On another note I'm getting a bit freaked about packing for my trip to France next week. Turns out the weather isn't too warm and now I'm thinking I will need to rethink all of my previous thoughts on what I should be wearing.
That dress will stay in style forever, so classic. I love the fun accents you added with the belt and ankle boots. It gives it just the right amount of edginess. Thanks for linking up!
The neckline is fantastic, I think it flatter the collarbone and short neck like mine 😉 This is the beauty of consignment shop, finding treasures but the not so good part is when finding treasure that is NOT our size. I think you just hit the jack pot with this one.. can’t wait to see the other 2!

Ok now the commenting works. (cfr my facebook comment just now) i’m interested in your nerdy pug shirt, but is there any way you would have it in red?
I too have “short neck syndrome” LOL Actually I have short everything syndrome.
I’m glad I had that belt because without it the dress looked like it was missing something.
Thanks Olga : )
Thanks for dropping by Cheryl : )
I would need to get your size for that shirt and then should be able to make it for you. Did you want the black pug or the fawn pug? Send me a convo via my Etsy store.
As far as being from Belgium or Dutch roots I don’t think so. German and English as far as I know. I have taken my husband’s last name, he is French/Spanish/Italian.
I’m glad you popped by : )
France?? Lucky!! Whatever the weather, have FUN and take lots and lots of pics for us 🙂 I love the color and pattern on this dress, shopping at consignment stores is always the best!

Thanks Ann : )
Yes we are on our way to visit my mother-in-law and my husband’s side of the family. Will try to take lots of photos : )
I just love your pastel blazer that you got through a consignment/thrift store. So pretty.
Oh Suzanne, this is one gorgeous dress! You look fabulous in it. And, I think you’ve styled it brilliantly. Weather everywhere has been so unpredictable. Well, we’ve had nothing but rain here, which is kind of predictable. {Sigh} Take what you think you’ll need. You could always buy something if the weather changes significantly.

I like the neckline! It’s something a little different but still looks great on your figure. I haven’t really done a lot of consignment store shopping but everyone seems to find great things so maybe I need to get out there.
Holy COW that’s AWESOME! LOVE the neckline. Love the print, and the colour is fantastic with your hair.
Like the dress. Like the neckline. Love the belt.
