Fall Looks I’m Lusting After that I’d make room for in my closet.
I’ve been eyeing those tall boots for almost two years now. I keep hoping I’ll find some when thrifting or consignment store shopping. So far, no luck. FYI I want, (get a pen and a piece of paper and write this down) leather, low heeled, lace up boots in black or brown, size 8. Now you’ll know what to get me for Christmas. Or Halloween. I’m not fussy.
I’m normally a size 7 but have decided I would buy them a size up and add some foam inserts and arch supports because once I get these babies I plan on never taking them off.
Anything I’ve chosen here that might tempt you to add to your Fall wardrobe?
Oh, love the caftan (lots of room for food babies) and the boots. Jot down my size too – 9. xox
My tan lace-up boots are one of the best things I’ve ever added to my wardrobe – although I’m so paranoid I’ll wear them out through complete over-use! I think the second look is basically the direction I’m heading for this autumn/winter… definitely want more 60s influence in my life!
I’ll take the red boots and the red skirt please! And those over the knee suede boots are to die for. Trouble is on me, I think they might come up to my crotch so on second thoughts I’ll admire from afar!
These are are so perfectly Suzanne! I can totally see you rocking those boots. Look out Fall. Suzanne’s coming!
I can totally see you rocking all of these looks! I love the skirt in the middle. 🙂

I love them all but the best is the first! Ha, I’m a UK size 8 which is an American 10.5 or 11 I think, and thifting shoes is rare! That said (don’t hate me), I did thrift knee-high brown suede boots in my size a few years ago. They weren’t ideal so I didn’t keep.them for years.
Re the comments thing, I wish I knew the answer, my method is usually to go to the blog and reply reciprocally (which I will continue to do because we all love comments!)But sometimes I feel like I.should write something on my blog too (if there’s time) but sometimes it is hard to write something that isn’t trite if there is not a specific point I can say something original to (like when there is outfit love). Ho.hum, so difficult! But I definitely don’t want Disqus, then people never come and visit your blog!!!x
I didn’t know there was a problem with Disqus…since I have that.
I agree, it is so difficult to choose where to allocate your time.
Have you got disqus? This box that I am commenting in is not Disqus! I mean that if I visit a new blogger and they have disqus as their commenting medium, I find those with it don’t come back and visit in return compared to those who have commenting functions like this!
Hmmm…maybe the plugin didn’t install correctly, because I thought I did have it.
I did have it on my previous blog which was on TypePad and I found the reverse to be true. Everyone seemed to get my responses and then I got more, but I also found some people were frustrated with it and said they couldn’t comment.
I honestly don’t know what the answer is and why some people receive my replies and others don’t.
The tall boots are very you – I hope that Santa Claus, or the devil, or your husband comes through for you 🙂 I love wearing boots because there is usually enough room for arch supports, etc. I’d like a nice pair of comfy black ankle boots that are not too clunky looking, which is difficult when you wear a size 10, but I’ll keep looking.
Great list,! Love the anthropologie
pieces and the skirt is fab! I am also looking for tall boots, also a size up, so i can add foamy pieces underneath. We have to honor our feet as well as the style!

Yes, pretty much every item you’ve chosen has tempted me. But then that’s to be expected since we could actually shop for one another. that first outfit, seriously, I want to wear it right this minute. I’ve also been tempted to purchase some high boots but just haven’t spotted the right pair for the right price. Great temptations, my cute friend.
I will be on the look-out for your boots. I had them, but they were just a bit too small for my size 38, so I threw them out. I know, this hurts.
As for your pickings.. I like the skirt. But first I have got to know what to do with a wide, longer skirt. So far the only skirt I can style is a pencil skirt. Need some lessons.

GAH!!!! What??? Aw crap! That would be the perfect size for me. : (
I know, I know. So sorry.
I’m right there with you in terms of lusting over that first outfit. I think I’ll be wearing a lot of red and wine shades this fall. And I love the whimsy of the poppy print against the diamond gingham. A perfect pairing! I’m also loving oversize ponchos and ruanas with skinny jeans for fall. So comfy AND chic!
