I know that normally these jeans shouldn't be in my closet. But they were. Stuck way back in the back. Hidden away years ago when I discovered them among the racks and racks of jeans at TJ Maxx.
They are "country meets LA" and so pretty to look at that I simply cannot bring myself to take them to the consignment store. Let them play Rhinestone Cowboy in the background as the Electric Horseman and I make our way into town.
I don't care if our electric horse lights go out. My jeans will still sparkle.

Suzanne! They found their way to your closet for a reason. Do not let them go!!!
I agree with Sue – keep! And OMG, I die for Robert Redford circa 1979. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday : >
Keep them they are tres chic and retro which is so in now.
It’s a keeper! I used to have a pair similar in high school! I so want it back!
I think those are awesome! They’d be great to break out for a bit of fun every once in awhile.
Love them! stylish Rodeo girl! xxx
You and me both Patti : )
Is it bad to wear something retro though if you wore it when it wasn’t retro? LOL Scary thought I know.
I can really see you rocking these Jeannie.
Why do you need to give them up?? I love embellished denim! You look great!
Becky 🙂
They’re fabulous!! It’s like having a Narnian closet when you can find treasure like that in it. I’m just getting a hint of shoe there but they look amazing. Love it! Yee ha!
Keep them in any case! You look fabulous in it and who knows, maybe they will be trendy next year. If not they are unique and worth to be worn by a stylish woman.
If you feel it, wear it! I wear my Levi’s from the 90s that nobody wears anymore but hey, its well worn, comfy and that’s important. That jeans is perfect for spring!

What a fabulous find, just right in time – so trendy! They look perfect on you!
Cute pants! Thanks for linking up to My Style Monday today.
Keep ‘um baby! They’ll always be cool on you. That’s the thing about jeans … the cut always comes back, sooner or later.
those are some sassy jeans, girl! You really don’t find them like that anymore, but I can imagine that they’re fun to wear!
Funny enough I think I only bought them about 5 or 6 years ago. You never know with TJ Maxx since the inventory could have been old.
The funny thing is that I’ll either be considered “way ahead of the crowd” or horribly behind. LOL
Thanks Olga : )
I agree that nowadays you can really get away with anything as long as you wear it with confidence.
So true…the styles change faster than a person can buy the clothes.
Ha I love the reference to Narnia.
I have to say I do love those shoes. Silver glittery ones by Nine West. Unbelievably they are comfortable, only 2 inch heel so that might have something to do with it. They look like silver cowboy boots with only the tip of the toe sticking out here.
Thanks Becky : )
Suzanne, would you believe if I told you I bought the same pair of jeans at TJMaxx circa 6 years ago:-) I guess ‘fashion oriented’ minds think alike 😉 Happy Spring to You and Your Family:-)!!!
Okay that is hilarious!!! I want to see a photo of you wearing them! and how you will “style” them. Too funny.
They’re pretty! Keep ’em – we all need our guilty girlish indulgences sometimes!
