Two Easy Fall Outfit Ideas
You know I’m not much for neutrals, but every once in a while I get an urge to simplify and blend in. It’s not often…but when it does happen, I have a well worn grey cashmere pullover that I can be seen wearing with jeans and boots, similar to what I’ve shown here.
I like the idea of the white paired with grey to transitional into fall. Depending on the weather where you are, this might be a bit too warm right now. This would be perfect in the evenings here, but I’d need to wear a tank top or t-shirt like this underneath for the warm days or risk spontaneous combustion.

I love grey with ivory. Just bought (thrifted) yet another grey-striped tee yesterday to wear with an ivory boho skirt. Great minds and all that. xox

I LOOOVE these outfits. They are calm. They are restful. They say, let me slip in the side door and relaaaax. I’d grab these today if they were in my closet, especially the cashmere sweater because I don’t have a pug.

I love both of these. I am drawn to neutrals more and more these days. I seem to want something easy and restful and honestly I find mid-toned greys, browns and cream colours really soft and lovely. Other than the fact that I don’t wear turtlenecks, I am seriously coveting both of those outfits. xoxo

I like white and grey. A good color pairing but not one I’d have thought of…

The set on the left I would wear no problem, but your set on the right confronts me with my ongoing ‘white pants’ dilemma. I know the old “no white bottoms after Labor Day” no longer applies (have I just showed my age in typing that?), but old habits die hard. I have a very difficult time wearing white pants in fall/winter. HA! for a long, long time I didn’t wear white pants in ANY season. White pants were long the antithesis of good looking to me. And yet . . . I find that I do like the look for autumn. I’ve even pinned an outfit or two reminding myself of that. Who knows? Maybe this year I’ll actually wear white pants past September (I kind of doubt it, but you never know).

This is exactly the way I like to dress in the fall. You wear one outfit, I’ll wear the other and let’s meet for cappuccinos.

I also love this look and am wearing something similar today! I love to dress according to mood, and of course I always take weather into account. I am a lifetime lover of grey! Love the boots and the bag on the right!

Excellent outfit combination, in fact I think I might just pack this exact combination in my suitcase for this week. Thanks for the great idea!

Hmm…a gray cashmere turtleneck. I need to add that to my list of wants. Love both of these outfits.

With your hair, these looks are great! With my hair, I generally avoid gray tops. Since it’s supposed to hit 80F today (!), I’m also avoiding warm pullovers! I love these styles, though – kind of beatnik chic, very hip.

I know what you mean. I have cream jeans and a black Theory top. Very simple. Together with high heeled black suede booties it is an impressive outfit. No idea why. It just is.

Ivory and gray are favorites of mine! They’re so so soft and low contrast they just feel fabulous on!

Great boots. Darn you Suzanne, why do you always find great boots. They seem to be my Achilles heel!

Boots are a huge weakness of mine. I fair much better walking in boots than shoes so I’m always on the lookout for new ones that are even better than what I own already.

White & grey is so pretty together! Great for transitioning into fall. Can’t wait for it to get cool enough to actually wear something like this…
