You didn't think I would go one whole week and not wear my tulle skirt did you?
Good. I was beginning to think we don't know each other at all.
Okay, I think I may have stepped over the line from quirky, artsy to wait staff uniform. It's boarderline.
I suppose in retrospect, if I hadn't included the tie it might have been better. I normally don't like wearing all black and white. A neck scarf to bring some colour around my face would have been a better idea.
Tulle skirt – Ebay, Shoes – Rockport, Vest & Shirt – TJ Maxx, Tie – borrowed from hubby
It's funny because my husband said this was one of his favourite outfits I've made with the tulle skirt. Sometimes outfits simply do not photograph well. Or am I just making excuses now for my beloved tulle skirt?
Now please excuse me won't you?…I have tables waiting and I think one of my orders just came up.

Nope you are not. Making excuses. It is true some outfits in real life don’t photograph well. I have several outfits that didn’t get posted for this reason, I love this look, very Ralph Lauren looking.
I love your tulle skirt. Fabulous wearing that vest and tie with it. So adorable.
I love this pink tie!!!
It’s a cute outfit – the pink tie really makes it! Well, and that cute tailored vest. And I never saw a waitress wear tulle. As long as you’re not wearing a name tag, I think you’re okay.
I believe there’s only 1 Suzanne who can pull off this look…..LOVE IT!!!

Masculine versus feminine still on tred, the waist coat is so classy, and the skirt besides formal is so cute! X
I love this outfit. It is very Diane Keaton.
I think it’s so cute! I love how you remix this skirt in so many ways. You really know to use this skirt to its fullest potential! And did you tie that tie yourself? That is something I would have my husband do for me 🙂

One can never go wrong with a lovely tulle skirt – unless one needs to protect its tulle goodness with an apron in the dining room?
We need to have a day where we all put up outfits that we didn’t feel were “blog worthy”. That would be interesting!
Thanks Marla : )
Special thanks to my hubby : ) So glad he doesn’t mind me borrowing his stuff.
Okay, you are right. I haven’t seen any waitress wearing tulle. Good tip on the name tag thing! LOL
Come on Rebecca…I could *so* see you in this!
Great way to describe the look : )
I love how you spell your name. Thanks for stopping by : )
I love that. I never thought about it at all until you mentioned it and that is very true. Thank you!
I am proud to say that I learned how to tie a tie a while back. I think my Dad taught me in fact. It is very good to know and not difficult to learn.
So true that the tulle must be protected. It should come with it’s own little defence shield.
How much do I adore your outfit?! Now I want a tulle skirt. Just fabulous!!!!!! I would be twirling all over the place.
waitress or not – you pull this off! I did get a kick out of reading your post though :). I love that skirt and expect to keep on seeing it on your blog!

I actually really like the outfit–it is nice and quirky! But I think you’re right that a neck scarf instead of a tie might look cool.
I think the look is more business professional than waitress.
