What To Pack For 10 Days In The South Of France Wild Card
Every trip I take I pack at least one "wild card" outfit. This is for an evening out or an option in case I don't feel like anything else I've packed.
This consignment store silk kimono dress ( a new addition to my wardrobe) fits the bill nicely for the South of France.
While perfect for an evening out I can still do this…
Or this…
Because we all know how important it is to know what you will look like when jumping or flying through the air.
Who said I can't do elegant? ; )
Do you often pack an extra outfit while on vacation? Or is it the strict minimum?
What To Pack For 10 Days In The South Of France Day 9
Day 8 Outfit France – St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat Rothschild Villa & Tea Room
If you're counting this is my third time wearing this skirt on vacation. It's a darn good thing I like it!
I've left my large brimmed sun hat off in this photo, but you can bet if we are out in the sun I will be wearing it.
When I was travelling in Europe with my sister we had our backpacks lost/stolen (long story) while taking a train from Spain to France. We then travelled on for quite a while thereafter with literally the clothes on our backs, a comb and my sister's journal. I don't know why she had taken these items with her when she left the train. You should see the looks you get when you check in somewhere with that as your baggage! LOL
We had whined and complained about our heavy backpacks every day when we had them.
Be careful what you wish for….suddenly they were gone and all of our belongings with them. We learned quickly that you don't need to much to live and that often people in the hostels where we stayed were wonderfully generous.
Now it bothers me to wear one skirt three times while on vacation.
Oh how times have changed.
