Really gets your engines revving and makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning?

The fabulous clothes you'll be putting on and strutting around in that day looking all kinds of amazing?

Is it your job? 

Do you define your self worth by how much you are paid and how many accolades you receive?

Is it your education?

Are you constantly improving your mind and in doing so increasing your value to the planet?

Is it your family?

Your children, loved ones and friends that make your life meaningful?

 

If you answered yes to any of those questions you answered

wrong.

Your heart makes you tick. 

Your legs gets you out of bed.

Your lungs keep you breathing.

 

Your body is the one and only thing that you truly own in this world. 

It's the one thing you came into this world with

and it's the only thing you're taking with you when you leave.

 

Honour it.

Love it.

Look after it.

 

 It won't last forever.

 

Because when it starts to fail

Nothing else will matter.

  

 

Today and every day I am thankful for my body and what it does for me.

With all of its perceived imperfections,

it is

simply perfect

for me.
