Mad Men is back tonight. The one reason I haven't cancelled my cable until after this week is because I want need to watch this episode in real time. 

The tortured Don, never able to hold onto happiness for more than what seems like a few fleeting minutes. 

My favourite thing about the series is by far the writing. It is poingnant, gut wrenching, hilarious, desperately sad and 100% real.

Don't even get me started on the fashion porn…

Have you ever seen anyone dress as well as Joan or Betty? 

So I will be there…in front of my TV tonight…pug in my lap, husband by my side, lights dimmed.  I won't be answering the phone or looking at emails…I will be trying to absorb every detail and every piece of dialog and committing them to memory.

I heart you Mad Men!
