A Little Bit Of Tweed
My girlfriend scored a great tweed jacket last year from H&M and I've regretted not getting the same. Last week I stumbled across one that I think I like even better. It's fitted, has elbow patches, the plaid isn't too large and the colours are warm and neutral. It's perfect. Plus, with H&M pricing it doesn't break the bank.
I put this outfit together right away to run some errands.

Giving Thanks
This was our Thanksgiving Monday…loved it.
I made everything from scratch with recipes I created. For the appetizers I had goat's cheese stuffed figs with roasted pecans & honey, sun dried tomatoes with fresh basil, fried halloumi on rye crisps and homemade pesto cheese buns. My first try at lemon drop martinis turned out great, lethal but great.
I'm glad we took the time to spend moments like this together, simply being grateful for life and each other.
