Romantic Boho Gypsy
Today's outfit is one that best suites my personality, casual and creative. I love the boho romantic gypsy look.
I covet most of the clothing at Ruche and I especially enjoyed their Enchantment Lookbook this past month where I first saw this little mint colored Beach Stroll Sheer Cardi and fell in love with it as well as the dress from the Lookbook. I ordered both and one other super cute dress and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. I'm not usually one to buy clothes online since there can be issues with fit however this time around I was lucky and everything worked. You will see me in the dresses later this week.
I hand stitched on snaps to the cardi so that it would close fully ( it only closes with a string tie) so that I could wear it on its own otherwise it added too much volume to my chest.
If you love hats you could easily add on one of the large brimmed floppy hats that are popular right now, a throw back to the 70's and it would look amazing with this outfit.

Jeans – Ethanol
Shoes – TJ Maxx
Blouse – Ruche
Necklaces – The Bay
I tried on the clown pants!
Okay…I'll admit it…maybe I over-reacted to my initial gut response to these new floral trousers. Last week when I visited Anthropologie again I decided to try them on. I will admit that;
A) they were very soft and did fit well,
B) I might not have seemed quite so clownish as I expected,
C) they still made me look a bit heavier than I'd like but they weren't as bad as I thought.
I think we can all agree they would look much better without my black tights sticking out at the bottom and if I had a heel on as well. I have to say…they didn't impress me enough to purchase them at full price though. If I were to find them on sale I may be persuaded to give them another chance.
