Another Find
Here is another great dress that I got for I think around $25 on sale at H & M. It's made of a cotton/lycra blend so it's extra easy to wear.
This is another high waisted outfit so it makes my legs look longer, by adding the belt I can emphasize where my legs "visually start" which is well above my natural waist.
I've paired it with dark opaque hose here however it's fine in the summer with bare legs or some neutral colored ankle socks.
I keep my line long by keeping the top few buttons open allowing more of my neck to show.

Dressology 101
I love dresses. They are easy to wear and if you get the right fit and length they look good on every body type. I especially love the 1950's silhouette of a tighter bodice and flared skirt. I'm channeling a bit of that look here.
I picked up the dress at TJ Maxx for a whopping $20! I know, can you believe it? You can't go wrong at that price. The ruffle at the neck reminded me of some of the new Kate Spade collection. The print is actually an apple. So cute. I probably wouldn't care for the dress as much on its own since I find the pattern a bit overwhelming but pairing it with the sweater gives your eyes a much needed rest from the busy pattern.
