Brain Explosion Leads to Super Powers
I was trying to teach myself some new Photoshop skills today and my brain started to feel like it might explode. As time passed and my progress slowed I decided to try something fun and made myself into a comic SuperWoman. Did I learn a lot of new stuff? Sadly, no not really…but I'm hoping my new super powers will help me out the next time I try to create a seamless pattern from Smart Objects.

Back to Black
I tried something a little different for this neck candy…instead of being all about the colors, which is what I'm normally about, I decided to let it be all about the textures. I handmade luscious over sized velvet flowers and layered them with satin, patterned tulle and sequenced lace all in black.
It doesn't photograph as cool as it is.
It looks great with my Kay Unger dress here, but think it could also be amazing with just a white tank top, ripped faded jeans and stilettos. It's a big statement piece for someone that really wants to make an entrance.
