What? Me wear simple, classic clothes that are comfortable too?
I think I may have uncovered the secret of how to wear comfy clothes and not feel like a slob.
“You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of relaxed, soft fabrics. A dimension of elastic waists. A dimension of neutral colours and padded footwear. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance of fashion and ideas.
You’ve just crossed over into… The Fashun Twilight Zone.”
It’s not as frightening as it sounds.
It’s like “lounging pyjamas” with low heels.
I wear pyjamas with low heels ALL THE TIME.
{snort}
You know, to lengthen my line when I’m feeding the dog and doing laundry.
We all need long lines ladies! And no, I’m not referring to the ones on my face.
These faux suede cigarette pants are like a snuggie for my legs.
And look! My office is so bright I gotta wear shades!
Either that or I was too lazy to put on eye make up.
Yeah, I’m going with the first idea. Much more, “pro blogger-ish“.
I am going to dish a bit about these little shoes I’m wearing because Hallelujah! I’ve found some heels worth shouting about.
These are the most comfortable heels I own!
AND they were reasonably priced (I see that you can buy them online through Ebay for less than $20!).
Yes, they’re just simple little black classic suede heels but, and I cannot emphasize this enough, they feel great on my feet!
They don’t make my brain hurt after wearing them for more than thirty minutes.
The brand name is Abella (which I’ve never heard of before) and I bought them at DSW. The insoles are padded, the heel is 2¾”, the sole is rubber and flexible. I was so impressed with the fit and comfort that I bought them in grey as well. I probably would have bought the blue ones if they had them in my size as well. I have too many pairs of “car-restaurant-restaurant-car” heels that having a couple of pairs where I think I could actually walk all the way to the parkade without screaming at strangers on the street to “MAKE THE PAIN STOP!” is like winning a small lottery.
Have you ever heard of this brand before? And if so…why the heck didn’t you tell me about them? And no, I’m not paid a dime for this.
Damn-it!
I’m considering this my good deed of the day. Normally my good deed is picking up my dog’s poop off of my neighbour’s lawns but sometimes I like to really go all out and go that extra mile. It’s nice to feel like I’m contributing to society.
Feeling good. Saving one pair of over-40 ladies feet at a time. That’s my motto.
What’s your motto?
