This dress is starting to feel a little bit short for me. Or maybe it was because I hadn’t used any tanning lotion on my legs.
Solution? Wear jeans underneath.
They are more like jeggings. My favourite pair.
If I did yoga I’m sure I could wear these jeggings.
But I don’t do yoga. It’s not good for people with Fibromyalgia. But neither is my personality.
I have a type A personality. And I am quite competitive. Even with myself.
Yesterday for example I decided to workout. I started out on the treadmill, even though I had somehow injured my foot about four weeks ago. I figured it would work itself out. I’d taken a running/workout break for 15 days trying to let whatever the issue was heal. When I got back on the TM today it was painful at first, but the more I pushed myself the less I figured I could feel the pain. So I pushed. And then I pushed some more. Just because I hadn’t worked out in so long and I felt like I could should.
Then I got off the treadmill and did some weight training. I was well into the, “No Pain, No Gain”.
When I started into my cool down stretch I began to feel sick.
I won’t lie it was a bit of a struggle making it up the stairs to the shower.
By the time I needed to pick up my husband I could barely walk out to the car (thanks foot!) and had some serious nausea.
So yeah, my personality isn’t doing me any favours. Other people need a coach to tell them to train harder, run more, I need the opposite.
Do you have any personality traits that don’t necessarily work in your favour all the time?
Back to the outfit…and how to wear jeans with a dress…
5 Looks I love on how to wear jeans with a dress.
I noticed each of us chose to wear quite sleek fitting jeans/pant and heels for this look.
Do you ever wear jeans with a dress?
