Here I am again experimenting with that same black tulle skirt I picked up for $11.50 on Ebay. I guess this is my "leopard meets ballerina meets biker from the 1950's sock hop" look. Yeah, that's exactly what I was going for.
As much as I was drawn to the tulle skirts in white/cream or even the lovely pastel colours when I was shopping online for this I'm happy that I knew enough to stick with the tried and true black. It goes with everything and doesn't make me look like a fluffy marshmallow.
Shoes – Me Too!
Jacket – Danier
Skirt – Ebay
Scarf – Mod Cloth
Glasses – Firmoo

How cool wearing tulle with a trim leather jacket! Gorgeous, especially with those shoes!
This is a cool, funky look and you look hot!! The fishnets are the icing on the cake and make your legs look amazing.
So cool, Suzanne! I have a very similar black tulle skirt and I wear it a *lot* – you’ve given me some new ideas. Love those leopard heels. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday!
Oooh red, polka dots and leopard! Love this!! That red leather jacket is to die for!
And re: your comment over at my blog – it’s really funny but true, the British really over react to the whole snow thing. We just do not know how to cope with it (and me, well I’m an Aussie – I’m even less equipped!). I don’t know if you’ve ever been to the UK during a period when it snowed but if you did, as a Canadian you would find the entire thing hilarious. The whole place shuts down with the tiniest bit of snowfall that Northern Europeans, Americans and Canadians would barely register.
What a foxy look, I love that amazing leather jacket!
That leather jacket is gorgeous! Love the color and your polka dot scarf! The scarf and those leopard heels perfect the outfit! I really need to invest in one of those tulle skirts. How long did it take to ship?

This outfit is just too dang fun! I love everything about it. Way to score on the skirt, lucky girl. And yes, black was a great choice, I’m sure you will have tons of fun mixing and matching this little black skirt. But the red with the leopard print was fantastic!

Nice blog, and lovely you in that tulle and leather.

Suzanne- I want your jacket! That color is so unique and gorgeous. I love it with that wonderful black skirt and the leopard shoes. Sometimes I don’t think out of the box. I would have worn it with boring black shoes. This is wonderful. Stunning as usual.
This look is great. Love the leather jacket with the tulle skirt.

Thanks Ashely : )
Thanks Ani. I have to admit this is my favourite leather jacket of all time. I totally scored when I found it at the Danier Warehouse.
Thanks Val : )
Thanks Jean. I find fishnets so much more comfortable to wear than opaque tights.
I could totally see you rocking a similar look Patti : )
Yes I lived in London for a while and they do have a bit of a knee jerk reaction to weather. That umbrella really made me laugh though ; )
Thanks Emalina : )
It didn’t take long, maybe 7-10 days. I’m going to get so much wear out of a piece that cost less than $12. You would look great it one.
Do you have a tulle skirt Sheila? If not what are you waiting for? You have so many other skirts…this would be a welcome addition to your collection and would go brilliantly with all of your tailored jackets.
Thanks Pam : )
Just found your blog…love your style! So glad you commented so I could find you : )
Ha ha! Nope I won’t be saying that three times fast. Just once was enough ; )

I’m going to get myself a damned tulle skirt … your posts settle it. But I won’t ever look as amazing as you do. Can’t think of anything better to wear with tulle than leather. Ya gotta love the prints. You look so polished.
(Can’t come out and play on VM today as I am changing tools and toys but hope to be back in a few days! Good to see you.)
Loving that tulle skirt! I picked up a few from ebay too! The leather jacket is the perfect addition to the soft tulle layers and of course those leopard shoes are amazing!
