This dress made me think of Audrey Hepburn.
Isn't the lace overlay and the sweetheart neckline divine?
Earrings are from Jeweliq
My birthday Fluevogs : ) Sadly they aren't as comfy as I'd hoped. They are good for a maximum of 20 minutes walking before pain meds or a stiff martini needs to be administered.
This is a Dorothy Perkins dress one size too small for me.
This dress is crushing my ladies.
Audrey had very small ladies I believe. Small girls actually. And very angular shoulders and arms, ideal for this dress.
But this was the only dress left remotely close to my size.
And it was on sale.
So my ladies are taking one for the team.

Suzanne, you look sooooooooo lovely!!!Beautiful dress and great shoes!!!
I love the title hahaha, you are too funny Suzanne. You look darling in this hepburnesque dress, and you cant tell its too small. Too bad your unique shoes are not comfortable, they really look comfy actually so maybe you make them your dinner shoes: 15 Steps to the car, 20 to the restaurant and back hahaha, I have shoes like that 🙂

Ha! I love Audrey Hepburn. You look sweet.
Suzanne! I love the close-up picture of you with your sunglasses! Hmmm, might Adrienne and I use that photo for the upcoming “How I Wear My: Sunglasses” post? Or maybe you have some other lovely photos with sunglasses? Ha, you probably do! Think about joining again! XO, Jill
taking one for the team, lol! you do look fabulous, sorry for the various squeezings and sufferings you’ve endured for beauty. thanks for linking up to Vis Monday, have that martini asap : >
Cute dress, and I love the pink accents and the sunglasses! Shame the Fluevogs aren’t comfy because they are adorable!
Ha ha! re. your ladies taking one for the team. Definitely worth it. I have trouble with fit with Fluevogs too. There aren’t many styles that I can wear it seems. If it’s any consolation, yours at least look good. Can you return/sell them?
Let’s not forget the darling cat eye sunnies. The complete look is fabulous! The dress is so gorgeous that it might be worth having a tailor insert a small V of fabric into the side seam. And too bad about the Fluevogs…if they’re too tight feeling, perhaps they can put them on the stretcher.

Love your post title and your ladies taking one for the team to showcase this pretty dress. You look fab and doesn’t show that it is too small. Love the pink accents and bummer about your pretty pink heels. I hate when that happens! Sometimes, I wonder why I don’t buy all my shoes from Nordstrom when there return policy is so generous and I can return any pair of shoes that does not pass the comfort test.

Lovely dress. And I adore how the belt matches with your shoes. Nice touch!
By the way, I’ve updated my blog with a new post. I’d love for you to swing by 🙂 http://www.fashchronicles.blogspot.com
The back of your heels are darling! Too bad they are not comfortable.
Hopefully your shoes will become gradually more comfortable after you’ve been wearing them for a while! I love audrey hepburn’s style! My idea haircut is her’s from Roman Holiday, but mine usually ends up being a significantly messier version.
Suzanne, this is fantastic look! From head to toe you look perfect! Love pink elements of this outift!

Well I don’t think it looks too small, it’s very flattering! You look amazing girl. And this dress is divine! Wow! Love the fluevogs too 🙂 I totally want some. Sad to hear they’re not very comfy though.

It is a gorgeous dress Suzanne! I love the mix of the grey woolen fabric and the black lace. Your hairdo and the 60ies glasses are as well adorable.
You look fabulous!

I love your pinks shoes. So lovely!

Looking good!
I don’t think that dress is too small anywhere except in the chesticles! I have that problem all the time though, I am smaller everywhere but the boobs, the rest of me is one size and they are another. Annoying. Except when I’m naked!
Keep on being gorgeous!
Awww…thanks Aggie : )
I have so many pairs of dinner shoes. Now at least I know what to call them : )
If you stand back about 30 feet from the computer and squint when you’re looking at this post you will mistake me for Audrey Hepburn. True. Or drink a bottle of wine by yourself and look at this post. Both make me look exactly like Audrey Hepburn…if she were a red head of course. Let’s not get carried away!
Thankfully the ladies are non worse for the wear ; ) I couldn’t imagine wearing a corset all the time.
I did have higher hopes for these shoes. I still think they may stretch out and fit my feet more the more I wear them though.
I think they may still stretch out a bit. Also I can take them back to the store and have them stretch them a bit. I have a feeling it may be the angle that my foot is at though. I hardly ever hear people say they can’t wear Fluevogs. That is pretty much why I bought them. I thought they’d be the most comfortable shoe I’d own.
Yes…might do the stretcher. I think next time on the dress I should go braless. That’d help.
That’s old style with the belt and shoes matching ; )
It was the back of the shoes that sold me on them. I still have my fingers crossed they will loosen up over time.
That is so true about your hair! I never thought about it. You need to style yourself like her, clothes and all. I can so see you wearing cigarette pants and a striped top with ballet flats.
Thanks Olga : )
Yes, I think if the dress had looked small on me I wouldn’t have bought it. I think I do a pretty good job of concealing the crushed chest.
Thanks Sabine : )
Thanks Klara. You had a beautiful post today. I loved it.
Thanks Caitie : )
Note to self: New word to add to dictionary…chesticles. Sounds a bit freaky but I like it and I am totally going to reuse it : )
Yep…I’m sure the husband isn’t complaining either.
Your dress is so pretty!!! and I LOVE your earrings!

I dunno … the girls look pretty comfy to me. Doesn’t read as too tight. Pretty though, on you, and accessories work so well. The pink is so punchy on this little dress that wasn’t made to take itself too seriously in the first place.
You always interpret so well for us.
Love you hair, BTW … might be a good time for a color change! You wear it well.
Adorable and yes very Hepburnish!!i like the bright pink accents you’ve put with it!
I love this look so much! I am a big fan of Audrey and I totally see her style in this look! The dress is super cute and I can’t tell that it’s too small! I did laugh at your comment about the girls taking one for the team though, haha 🙂
The crush is worth it – you look fabulous in it! Very Audrey. The lace inset is gorgeous and I love the touch of the hot pink shoes.
Suzanne, I think this dress looks wonderful on you, if its too small you sure have me fooled. Can I just take those sunglasses right off your cute little face right now ( LOVE) them!
To bad it’s to small because in these photos it looks so good. Great design and really fun shoes!

I totally love this dress. You can’t even tell that it’s a size too small, but I bought a dress at a thrift store that was kinda tight but it was only 6$ and I wanted to take pictures in it. Lol. Love your blog! Following.

Love this dress and even if it is crushing “the ladies” it looks fantastic on you! Thanks for joining my Sunday Style Link Up…I hope you will link up another outfit today 🙂
Hi Suzanne,
The dress is awesome and certainly does not look like its too small on tour ladies.
I do hope the shoes will become more comfortable in time as they’re super cute.
