Due to the holidays my Friday Top Five will be recommencing the week of Jan 14th.
I think Madonna was the first one to combine those 3 things way back in the 80's. Or was it Cyndi Lauper? I'm pretty sure it was one of them. I'm tardy to the party since I never grabbed onto the trend when it was happening. It makes me cry every time I have to think that yes, I am that old, and no, there is no way to go back in time. Hot Tub Time Machine… I wish!
As always Zoe wants to get in on the action.
Gotta give the pug some love.
And yes, I am totally in love with these Firmoo glasses. The irony is that before I had corrective laser eye surgery when I had to wear glasses to see, I hated them. Now they are a fashion accesory. Go figure.
Jean Jacket – H&M
Skirt – Ebay
Necklaces – Le Chateau
Shoes – Guess

Oh I love everything about this ensemble! Love the tutu on you, and those glasses are pretty fab!

I love that skirt so much! And how you belted your jacket. This is a great outfit. You should never ever cry about your age! It’s all about how you look and feel, and while I can’t tell you how you feel, you look amazing!

The skirt is so cheap Rebecca! Even you, Ms. thrifty pants herself could afford $11 cause that’s what I paid for it.
I’ll make a deal with you, if you promise to make my cold snowy winter go away I will fly down there and bring the skirt to you! LOL : )

Totally LOVE this look, Suzanne. Great mixing the ultra-feminine tulle and the denim to toughen it up just a bit.

It’s funny because my husband didn’t like it and wanted me to take it off. LOL Sometimes he gets confused and thinks he is the stylist around here. He’s cute though so I forgive him.

Totally love, love this. I normally wouldn’t think to combine a jean jacket with such a dressy skirt but that looks amazing. Love how you added that thin black belt and jewelry. You have given me some ideas for my wardrobe. I would definitely wear this.
