Vintage Blazer Style
This is me just chillin’ at the Eiffel Tower in my vintage 1980s blazer.
I *wish* I were hanging out at the Eiffel Tower in Paris today instead of my bedroom.
{sigh}
I know I’ve told you this before but it is worth repeating…
Vintage is cool, vintage is chic and vintage is easy to wear.
You won’t look dated or like you’re wearing a costume. Simply style it like you would a contemporary piece.
All I did was pair this blazer with jeans, boots, red belt and a cami.
Classics never go out of style.
Do you have any vintage classics?
Significant others not included ; P

Great blazer, nicely presented. I like the idea of using photos as backdrops.

I thought of you yesterday when watching a female comedian (born in Canada, working in England). The comedian said her best friend is an anthropologist “by which I mean she shops a lot at Anthropologie.” Ha!

Gorgeous blazer Suzanne. I love vintage and upcycled as you know. A good stylist can look on point with vintage while doing the planet a giant favor.

I’m with you on all those points about vintage Suzanne. I get so excited when I find a new vintage piece and all of the possibilities it represents. Give me vintage every time over something new!

Hmmm, blogger has stopped listing your posts in my feed. The last one was two months ago! I thought you had stopped blogging!
Glad to find it isn’t so.
This is a gorgeous outfit in front of the wonderfully graphic tower.
And I thought your last post hilarious! I too have an internal hipster, though no cool hair to mount a top knot handle.

You styled that blazer to perfection! And you’re right, vintage is easy to wear, it just needs a bit of thinking out of the box. I’m being drawn to blazers lately, and I’m always on the lookout for cheap ones at the charity shops. Of course, I can never have just one, or two (or three) … xxx

And the ginormous photo as a backdrop looks gorgeous (too)

I have a couple vintage pieces and of my vintage brooch collection. i think that is the key right, not wearing all vintage but mixing more modern pieces like you did here with jeans and boots. Like the pop of red with the belt too! Looks great!

You’re preaching to the converted, sister! The only way is vintage – it adds edge, integrity and individuality to anything you wear.
Love the Eiffel Tower wallpaper and how cool you look in your blazer. xxx

Vintage ROCKS!!! In my new location I haven’t found any great sources YET.
You look terrific in this black and white classic blazer. Timeless, sophisticated, recycled, perfection.

Hahahaha!
Well let me tell you that I purchased my first vintage item a few weeks ago, after many attemps! Because I thought it was smelly, dirty and all that. Now I have 7items!😂😂😂😂😂😂 It s addictive!!

You are a beautiful woman and that blazer suits you like a T. You will like that I am still shopping vintage. Oh and some new high end shops see my business as well. But that it for the sole purpose of starting a long vintage life.
