Will this make me memorable is often a question I ask myself when choosing clothing. To me, the most important thing about how I dress myself other than the obvious, that it flatters my body shape, is that I present myself as a creative unique individual. I want to make sure that I am memorable and don't blend into the crowd. That is not to say I'm going to dress like a clown, because that sure would stick with people, but I do want to look like an artist. I guess you could say I'm dressing my part.
I've been thinking lots about what my style says about me. After seeing this clip by Garance Dore about Costanza and her views on beauty and aging it made me think even more about how people form impressions about us based on our appearance. Be it right or wrong, it happens all the time.
When I get compliments on my outfit I'm delighted and somewhat relieved that people have taken the time to notice the work that I have put into creating my style. It is something I enjoy but also something I work hard to accomplish and it is nice to know that it doesn't go unnoticed. Inwardly I breath a sigh of relief knowing that I'm doing something right.
What do you think your clothes are saying about you? Do you think you leave an impression on people? Or is that even important to you?

Referring to the appearance I can say that you always leave an impression wheter its good or bad. When I first say you on pictures I knew you were a creative and artful person as you exude it with your style ( and thats positive) You don’t swim with the main stream and have your unique and individuell touch to your look, which I love. Hmm what does my style tell abou tme? I dunno you tell me hahaha 😉
Your style definately says feminine and professional, with a little bit of European flair thrown in and a tiny bit of quirky the mix : ) All in all, a great recipe for your own unique brand of style.
Thanks again for letting me know : )
