I find that whenever I buy a new item for my wardrobe the first thing I want to do when I get home is make a bunch of outfits with it. I know, I'm just kind of wild and crazy that way. Ideally I should be able to make at least 3 new outfits with it however sometimes I get carried away and make about 10. It's my test to see if I'm going to keep the item or not. If I can't easily make outfits it goes back.
This magenta skirt is proving to be one of those that I can make 10 or more outfits with easily. Whenever you get a piece that flatters your body shape, is in a solid colour (or textural pattern) that you like and fits you well chances are it will be a work horse in your wardrobe.

You are looking fabulous in this skirt! It’s a wonderful color for fall/ winter and I love the shape. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
Wow! Love that skirt, and the texture of your blazer. But my favorite thing, by far, is your hair. I so wish I could pull off being a redhead.

Thanks Patti…hope the move goes well : )
Your blog is hilarious and I’m so jealous of your leopard shoes…following you now : )
Love the color of your skirt.
Super duper cute – love that fuschia, and your waist looks TINY. I also agree with Sam above – your hair is glorious.
It’s all an illusion…thanks to the puffiness of the skirt, in comparison my waist looks small ; P
As a natural blond I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to my old hair colour now.
Hope everyone starts feeling better at your house soon.
Thanks Marla : )
Oh my gosh, Suzanne, I am DYING over your hair in these pictures! GORGEOUS! And the outfit, totally tres chic! LOVE all the yummy textures, colors and layers. That definitely is a great skirt.

The skirt is beautiful! Like the accents in the shoes and the corsage in the same colour family.

Really good idea … playing well with lots of others is a must for your wardrobe items! You look absolutely pretty, and I am going to print a picture of your haircut and take it to my salon-guy. Best hair cut EVER. Really.
Thanks for visiting Whitley : ) and congrats again on your run. I’m so jealous.
Thank so much : )
It’s so funny because I thought initially that the skirt might be a bit bright, but it turns out it’s the perfect colour.
Thanks for visiting : )
I’m going to tell you where I got the photo to take into my hairdresser for this cut…because for years and years I struggled against my bone straight fine hair, trying to make it fuller and curly. Then I saw this girl on Project Runway called Maya Luz and decided then and there that was the haircut for me. That must be 4 years ago now.
Thanks for visiting!
Magenta is so nice with your hair.
You look great on that!Your skirt is so cute!
