I'm really pleased with how this layout turned out. I cut out the "pieces of pie" from the paper and then placed it onto rose cardstock and then repositioned the pieces.

As we struggle to get through these hard economic times it seems that we could all use a little cheering up in the colors that surround us. According to Pantone which provides colour standards to design industries the new "it" color for 2009 will be mimosa yellow. Having designed with yellows in the past and again most recently in my new Hot line I have found that most people shy away from yellow when scrapbooking.  What do you think? Are you warming up to a bright sunny yellow? Do you think it will help us brighten our future and our scrapbook pages?
